Particle Clicker

About Particle Clicker

Particle Clicker is an incremental clicker game about running your own particle physics lab. Click the detector to collect data, then spend it on research that takes you through real milestones of modern physics, from early experiments to the discovery of the Higgs boson. Research earns reputation and funding, which you use to hire PhD students, postdocs and professors who collect data for you, and to buy upgrades that multiply their output. Each discovery comes with a short, plain-language explanation of the physics behind it, so you learn something while your lab grows. Progress is saved in your browser, so you can come back later and pick up where your lab left off. Created by physics students at a hackathon at CERN.

Game by Igor Babuschkin, Kevin Dungs, Tadej Novak, Gabor Biro and Jiannan Zhang, used under the MIT license.
